Bright Word, No. 7

Effulgent

But time kept passing — and much like how Alfred Hitchcock's admiration for Alice Guy-Blache failed to keep her in cinema history, not even Stanley Kubrick's effulgent praise could keep Girlfriends' achievements in the cultural conversation. -- Bartyzel, M. "Girls on Film Girlfriends, the most influential film about female friendship you've never heard of" , web article. This Week. April 25, 2014.

Defined: (Merriam-Webster online dictionary) Effulgent is a brightly shining light: impressive in resplendence:  extremely radiant.

My Take: Spring danced playfully across the river and effulgent sunrays kissed the garden’s flowers melting the frost of a gray, cold winter to reveal splendid deep hues of a new bloom.
